no for real tho omg every time i think about them my heart aches 😭😭😭i proceed thinking how excited he must have been when he finally tracked down Luke and Grogu location, got a gift made for his boi, literally the only ray of hope that kept him on the move later losing everything and being deemed an apostate by his covert, but to exist turned downwardly past Ahsoka when he was THAT Close to meeting his son
i even got lowkey jealous at Luke when he and Grogu fist-bumped on that hill like THE LITTLE GUY'S DAD IS Right HERE Howdy SIR PLS Allow THEM MEET FOR FUCK SAKES SDJHFKGDSFJSKF

believe me pal i have had that on my pile of to draw stuff for quite a while now. I have so many thing i wanna draw for Phong, i'chiliad only being occupied w another stuff atm and i only accept 2 easily (and one aching back) o(-(

Howdy! Just a small friendly reminder that Phong's full name is Nguyễn Chiêu Phong, if u wanna tag their proper name, you can write information technology as "Nguyen Chieu Phong". U can just phone call them Phong tho, since that'south their given proper noun (Nguyen is the family name, and Chieu is the centre proper name).

Anw thank you guys sm for taking interest in my featherbrained little oc. It really encouraged me to go on drawing them xD

Anymore info/art y'all tin can offer upwardly on that padawan, i actually really like their design (sorry if youve already answered this somewhere, im new)

oh hhahah dw anon, i dont retrieve i ever talk about them here. I but rambling about Phong to my friends in our group chat, and rotating them in my head sometimes lmao.
i gotta acknowledge that i made them out of a whim cos i wanted to take an OC to work on my pose studies. Likewise i wanted to run across our traditional article of clothing (this item ane is called áo tấc/áo ngũ thân) mixed w the Jedi robe. So yeh other than some random tidbits, i dont have any elaborated groundwork story for them like other absurd SW OCs u saw on this hellsite YvY
Well a scrap about Phong is they r an ace enby, goes by he/they. They prob existed around the aforementioned time as Cal, mayhap a bit b4 the war started, so they def met Cal and Grogu before (prob even Ahsoka on some rare gathering occasions just they r a repose little lad so i dont recollect they have the gut to arroyo her out of nowhere haha). They are headstrong tho, and is very interested in learning about other civilizations that besides wield the Force (a scrap of a nerd i would say). They def expect upward to Eno Cordova, and later on Chirrut (they met during a mission on Jedha)
I dont have that many sketches of Phong. they mostly exist in my brain and i but have the bulldoze to actually work on them once more lately lmao.

(tbh i was merely practicing making a model sheet using Phong and then i had wayyy besides much fun halfway thru dsgfhjs)

Working on this little lad once again and decided to update their design sail a wee bit, mainly their hair and the length of the pike saber

yessss i came upon that realization when i noticed Din's tone and torso linguistic communication changed whenever Grogu is effectually. As well Din's armor design reflects everything effectually him -> the Moon reflects the Sun'due south low-cal. Grogu is his everything his piffling sunshine your honor 😭😭😭😭

And I'm not going to lie: Grogu's profile in that one remind me of Chuck Jones' manner, which I DEARLY love!!! Chuck Jones is my childhood, so that piece just killed me with cuteness, feels, AND nostalgia!!! HOW Dare YOU!!!!!! 😭😭😭 never stop!!

wah thanks hahahah i didnt expect ppl to notice that i changed my weblog theme lol (i normally went for a bones, or slightly curse theme, only i like this one cos i can put random bullshit on the side column kskskks)
and goshhhh you are too kind!!! Chuck Jones is my childhood too and he's like that animator god that nosotros all await upward to YvY I couldnt mimic his mode but i learned a lot about posing and exaggeration from his piece of work. Iirc Dave Alvarez did a Grogu piece in Chuck Jones style you might wanna check it out it's very cute and chaotic hahaha.
